Annual Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Penrhys

The Deanery of Our Lady of Penrhys celebrates the Mass of the Assumption each year at the foot of the statue. As Canon John Kelly notes, “Though windswept we usually manage a good celebration, although once or twice we have had to beg shelter for the Llanfair Community Chapel, who are always generous and welcoming. The Deanery sets up the Mass, but all are most welcome to join. As noted people need to bring their own seating, and should be encouraged to wear outdoor shoes and bring a spare coat in case”.
